2. Camping Cosmos, (1996) On a Belgian camping site the residents discover during holidays that they have a lot of sexual fantasy. Lolo Ferrari is Venus coming out of the sea and brings the residents to madness. A beauty-contest, a song-contest and a boxing-match must bring the residents to appreciate culture. They do not like Brecht's play "Mutter Courage" nor an interview with the famous writer Pierre Mertens. The daughter of the site-animator admires her father because he does a lot of effort to bring culture to the common folk. At the end she reconciles with her father. Intimate scene between Jan Decleir and Arno. The boxing match between Jean-Pierre Coopman, (challenger of Cassius Clay) is real and has been repeated at the festival of Cannes at the beach. Herman Brusselmans as an autistic and dada artist paints on the caravans : More -> - "Ceci n'est pas une oeuvre d'art". - " L'art est un anus artificiel ". 3. Fermeture des usines Renault à Vilvoorde, (1998) Louis Schweitzer at the television announces the closure of the Renault factory at Vilvoorde in Belgium. "Cest irrévocable !". This is a complete surprise for everybody. First the workers do not believe it. Then gradually they realize the seriousness of the situation: they are without work. The director follows their actions, manifestations, anger… He has always his camera on his shoulders and makes a lot of interviews. 4. Opus IV: La jouissances des hystériques, (2000) Twelve women speak during 45 minutes about their projects with their future director. In the second part they are on the set. There is chaos. Noël Godin runs after a girl in a river. The director quarrels with one of his actresses. Citations of Jacques Lacan "Ecrits" , Guy Debord and the title of the book is from Lucien Israël: "La jouissance de l'hystérique". Therapeutical film about the relation with a selfish, dominant director (what they all are) and feminist women who claim their independency.
